Video of Great White attacking woman
This is, I think, the only video of a great white attacking a person. There could be more, but this is the only one I've ever seen and it's an edited down version.
Watch at your own risk, but it's not that gory because of the shaky camera and the distance. But it's interesting to see.
I've actually seen this woman interviewed on TV and she's not mad at the shark at all. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Shark bites sixth grader in Florida. Now he's nicknamed "Shark Bait."
Here's the latest news story on shark attacks in Florida. It tried to be all cute because the victim is a sixth grader.
Every year there are tons of these and everyone gets all excited. Florida leads the world in number of shark bites every year, yet the media goes into a feeding frenzy whenever anyone gets grazed by the teeth of a baby shark.

Great White from the topside of the boat
I've posted a lot of video of crazy folks swimming with great white sharks, so I thought it would be interesting to see how people react when they see a great white suddenly appear next to their boat.
Here's such a video. Now, I don't know where this was shot. The description says that this was shot in the outer banks of North Carolina, but I seriously doubt that; the water is just too blue.
I'm also wondering why the shark is staying so close to the boat. I'm not seeing any chum or anything. I'm thinking this must be in Mexico or somewhere where these sharks congregate in large numbers.
Oh, the video say that it came from Poacher Sport Fishing. Visit the site and there is no mention of a great white spotting, but they do talk about their location in the outer banks.

Sharks in the News

This one seems interesting. A guy jumps in the water to take pictures of tiger sharks feeding on a whale. Why are people getting so fearless? Sharks are great and all, but it's not a smart idea to swim with them without a cage or when they are feeding.
Dog attacks Shark
This one is kinda dumb and I think it's really stupid for the dog's owner to let it jump into the water when sharks are around. But at least the shark was almost dead, so the dog didn't die.
